You Will...

• People Management

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 10 software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving environment.

• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and provide career development guidance to team members.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the team.

• Product Management

• Work closely with the product team to define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

• Oversee the engineering team’s contributions to product development, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of projects.

• Facilitate communication between product, design, and engineering teams to ensure clear understanding of product vision and implementation strategies.

• Technological Management

• Define and implement technical standards and best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing & observability.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to guide the technological direction of the company and maintain competitive advantage.

• Lead data-driven decisions on technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security in all aspects of the product.

You Have...

• A strong foundation in software engineering with a proven track record of leading engineering teams in a dynamic startup environment, including expertise inmodernweb application development (Node, React and/or other JS frameworks).

• Experience in full lifecycle product development, from conceptualization to operation in production, and a keen understanding of how to align engineering work with business objectives.

• Proficiency in modern software development practices and technologies, with the ability to drive the adoption of these within the team.

• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and building consensus across diverse teams.

• Exposure to managingremote or distributed teams, demonstrating your ability to lead effectively across geographical boundaries.

You Might Also Have…

• Experience in thefinancial technology sector or with financial data products, giving you a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities in this field.

• Familiarity withPython and/or Go, React and NodeJSenhancing your ability to guide the team in a diverse technological landscape.
