We are a Series B startup backed by Y Combinator, Basis Set Ventures, Foundry Group, and others.About the role:Snappr is seeking a Strategy and Operations Lead directly reporting to our VP of Operations to play a key role in scaling our global operations team and shaping how we deliver AI-powered visual content.In this position, you will act as the right hand to the VP of Operations, a former Bain consultant and Stanford MBA. You will play a critical role in leading and shaping the direction of our 200-person operations team, helping build systems, solve bottlenecks, and own strategic projects that define how Snappr scales, working hand in hand with our Operations Managers.
You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure that the company’s most important initiatives are run to completion.This is a rare opportunity to combine analytical depth with hands-on operational impact and to gain a front-row view of how a fast-scaling startup operates.What you'll do:Act as the right hand to the VP of Operations, helping lead a 200+ person global organization that powers Snappr’s global network of photographers and its growing AI operationsLead high-impact projects across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations, owning execution from strategy to results. Partner with functional managers to make operations more efficient and scalable as Snappr grows toward Series CShape new AI-powered and human-led workflows that enable the world’s largest marketplaces to produce visual content at scaleWork side by side with company leadership, moving fast and seeing the impact of your decisions right awayOperate at both the strategic and tactical level, moving seamlessly between long-term planning and day-to-day problem solvingBuild a deep understanding of how a high-growth startup runs, with a path to eventually own key business functions as Snappr continues to scaleWhat you'll need:Two to five years at Bain, BCG, or McKinsey, or equivalent experience in investment banking or another analytical, high-performance environmentStrong structured problem-solving skills and ability to drive clarity in complex situationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with executives and cross-functional teamsAnalytical rigor with proficiency in Excel or Google SheetsStrong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and adaptability in fast-paced environmentsOwnership mindset with a bias for action and comfort working through ambiguityAmbition to grow into a senior operator or founder role in the futureBonus: Strong analytical skills including SQL, and data visualization toolsBonus: Background in engineering, computer science, or a technical fieldBonus: Entrepreneurial experience or experience in a high-growth startup environmentWhy Snappr:Join a YC-backed Series B startup that is redefining how businesses create visual contentWork with leadership who have consulting, engineering, and startup experience and who move quickly and expect real impactTake on high-visibility projects that influence every part of the company and produce measurable resultsBe part of a culture that values clarity, autonomy, and paceWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
