Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?The key purpose of this role is to maintain, repair and optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Maintain a safe, healthy, risk free working environmentPerform maintenanceMaintain and repair plant & associated devicesOperate and maintain all machines & associated devices in the Brewing processOptimise plant, process equipment & systemsEnsure that maintenance tasks are completed appropriatelyStandby duty required as per rosterKey Attributes and Competencies:Ability to problem solve using basic problem solving tools (5 why; fishbone) and problem solving to identify root cause and loop closures – AB ReportsAbility to reduce machine downtime to minimum while ensuring the all problems have permanent solutionsAbility to analyse various graphical data and open gaps to improve performanceAbility to identify non-standard work and tag the defects with root causesAbility to identify required spares for maintenance tasks and communicate plannerAbility to be able to use electronic communication devices eg Tablets, laptops and other devicesAlways looking for opportunities to improve MTTB and shorten MTTRAbility to communicate technical knowledgeAbility to train, coach and mentor operatorsAbility to optimize usage of resources and reduce wastageInterpersonal SkillsWork in Teams and CollaborateAbility to work minimal supervision (strong self-management practices)Minimum Requirements:Minimum N3 Technical qualification or higherTrade test qualification in Electrical / Millwright Experience in Packaging would be advantageousSummatively assessed in current role would be advantageous2 year’s post trade test experience would be advantageousAdditional Information:Band: A12SAB/ABInBev is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with SAB/ABInBev employment equity plan and talent requirements.
